Savannah Miller, MSW, LICSW, LCSW · Psychotherapist & Executive Coach
Psychology, leadership, and the deeper questions of being human.
Hi, I'm Savannah. My work reflects over 25 years in the field, supporting individuals through trauma, burnout, and major life transitions.
I work especially well with thoughtful, high-performing individuals who are navigating change and exploring deeper questions of meaning, purpose, and direction. Many times these individuals do not feel their external life is matching their internal experience.
My approach integrates somatic therapy, parts work, and meaning-centered psychotherapy to support deep healing, self-understanding, and lasting personal transformation.
I work best with individuals who are ready to slow down, reflect, and create meaningful, lasting change. Many of my clients are not just looking for relief, but a deeper understanding of themselves and how they want to live.
I earned my Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of New England.

Professional journey
My path into this work has been shaped by a deep curiosity about human resilience and transformation. Over 25 years in the field I've worked in community mental health, crisis response, and leadership roles in digital mental health, including serving as Senior Manager of Therapy Services at Headspace. Across these settings I've supported individuals, communities, and therapists themselves through trauma, burnout, and life transitions. These experiences shaped my belief that healing happens when people have the space to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore deeper questions about meaning, identity, and how they want to live.
Founder, CEO & Clinical Director
Heart Alchemy Institute
I founded Heart Alchemy Institute to create a home for deep, relational, trauma-informed therapy, and to support the therapists who do this work.
Practice Owner & Psychotherapist
Private practice, 2018 to present
I run a trauma-informed private practice across telehealth and in-person care, working with individuals and couples through grief, relationships, anxiety, identity, and major life transitions.
Senior Manager of Therapy Services
Headspace (formerly Ginger), 2021 to 2023
As a regional clinical and operational leader, I oversaw therapy managers and supervisors and established consistent clinical standards, quality assurance, and ethical compliance at scale across multi-state telehealth operations.
Leadership impact
- 200+
- therapists supported across 17 clinical teams
- 33%
- reduction in burnout symptoms through a clinician wellbeing initiative I designed
- Multi-state
- supervision, quality, and compliance frameworks scaled across telehealth operations
I also partnered with executive leadership through a merger and workforce transition, and these years inside a large mental health organization shape how I coach leaders today. I know the pressures from the inside.
How I work
I bring together psychotherapy, executive coaching, somatic and parts-oriented approaches, and existential exploration.
I'm also open to the spiritual dimensions of life when they matter to the person sitting across from me.
I don't have a formula for how you should live. I'm here to help you discover what is true for you and what comes next.
Who I work with
Many of the people I work with appear highly successful from the outside: leaders, professionals, and individuals carrying significant responsibility. Yet success alone stops answering deeper questions about meaning, identity, and what comes next. Burnout sets in. Others arrive at a different threshold entirely: a terminal diagnosis, grief, or a confrontation with mortality that reorders everything.
I also offer transition intensives, including prep and integration sessions, for adults ready to move beyond coping into genuine transformation.
Whether you are burned out, grieving, or simply feeling the pull toward something more, that questioning is a calling. It is an invitation into who you are becoming. I walked away from senior leadership to build something of my own and never looked back. I would love to hear from you.
